About Victoria

Victoria grew up in Manchester in the UK. These are the cities she has been to:

As a child she wanted to be many things; a singer, an astronaut, a storm chaser, a lawyer, the Prime Minister...It was only when her teacher suggested her constant gossiping in classes might make her perfect for Journalism that she started to focus on becoming a Journalist. She excelled in editorial writing and wrote for her school magazine before going on to the University of Leeds to study for a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Victoria has interviewed politicians, scientists, drag queens, farmers, fashion designers, environmentalists, cancer patients, old people, young people...the list is endless. She has worked on several BBC programmes as well as being a day editor on Leeds Student Radio. Her most notable achievement was having her ground-breaking documentary about sunbeds and skin cancer published by the international melanoma research consortium genomel. Victoria was also chosen for the final 50 out of 6,000 for the ITV Traineeship 2008.

Her many skills include filming, video editing, presenting, news reading, researching, writing and photography.

Victoria likes travelling, road trips, driving, cuddles, dance, yoga and cooking.
